Me singing the light in the piazza for the "Dream on" recital. I know I messed up in a few places, but I'm generally happy with it. THanks Michelle for being such a great pianist and making me feel so comfortable! And ,of course, thanks to my personal camera man, Dad.

You looked nervous. Also it sounded nasal and rather tight in several sections. Stop pushing- just let it go and make sure you don't go flat on the sustained high notes.

It was good but too musical theater-y for me, Piazza is generally musical theater, but its not the first thing that people think when someone says musical theater. Piazza is legit, almost classical music. You sung it with a lower palette as you would in a rock musical. Classical sounding pieces need to have better tone and be sung with a higher palette.

I don't think I can very well, either, hehe. I don't think I could do straight up drama, it's so much easier to act when you are singing.
