B) It's hard to see, but my back bumper was touching the ground, going any further and the bumper would have anchored and kept me from backing down on my own power.
C) Not only was the hill steep, it was sloped towards the water on the other side of the van, so if I did go all the way up, chances are very good that the van would have rolled and I possibly drowned.

Ok, to all the people who are giving me the "Why'd you let off the gas" noise, there are a couple things you all should know:
A) Pause the video at :10 seconds, you should notice how steep it drops off, if I went any farther, I would high center, and the front wheels would spin.
