The Allanwater News ran the following article as their front page news with the title 'Playing With Death':

"A WARNING has been issued to children over the dangers of playing in derelict buildings after children in Dunblane were caught running riot in their old school.

Pupils at Dunblane High School captured their antics on film and uploaded the footage to video-sharing website YouTube.

They can be seen running through the school corridors, fighting in the playground and climbing on the school roof of their former school which is now boarded up.

The shaky images, which are believed to have been filmed on a mobile phone, have already received more than 600 hits and attracted various comments since the video was posted.

However, the pupils seem unaware of the dangers. One who clicked on the popular website, cheekily boasts: "I skived that day."

Education bosses have condemned the video and warned any pupils caught messing around at school would be punished.

Stirling Council admitted it was 'dangerous' to play on the roofs of buildings and said it would investigate if there was any wrongdoing."

Right, first of all, you muppets, 600 hits is not exactly mind blowing, is it? Secondly what you have so obviously failed to mention is the fact that this video was filmed on the last day (hence the title, duh) of the school, it's not like we broke in after it was closed. Would we be wearing school uniform if we had?! The first paragraph is clearly worded to imply the school was closed at the time, which is the kind of crappy journalism i have come to expect from the allanwater news. Also, the video was not filmed on a mobile phone, i used a camcorder, so geddit right.

I hardly think climbing on the roof, wandering about for 30secs and then jumping back down again is the most criminal activity to have taken place at dunblane high, do you?

  • If someone adds taxes/work ethic/expertise or youth for the next generation, surely where they are born - that none of us choose - is irrelevant. If you go south of the border or to any other countries around the world you will find many of us Scots contributing as immigrants to society without receiving the type of commentary some of us dole out to our immigrant population. It is time some of us we realised this is a global society and joined the 21st century with the rest of the world.

  • i totally agree. people go on about how bad immigration is but if you press them their argument always boils down to something along the lines of "traditions and heritage and culture being lost", which is tbh not very convincing

  • Oh look, kids in the school, while the school was STILL OPEN, AND EVERYONE WAS STILL AT SCHOOL, WHEN IT WASN'T A BUILDING SITE!

How dare they record a tribute to the old school on the last day? My God it makes me sick.

It's almost as bad as those nefarious plantpot-tipper-overs, Dunblane really is full of hardened criminals these days isn't it?

  • People like you make me laugh

"Bet u feel rite solid way yer big fancy words yah fanny"

    You must be a retard

At least we can spell at Dunblane, and can think of more insults than "weirdo" which, by the way, you've used about 5 times in your comments.

    Weirdo
