I was going to buy a machine that converts K7's to mp3, but I won't have to, now! You've just saved me about $213.00!

this is useless to me. maybe this is good for 2000 but for vista none of the controls are the same and you can't get anything OTHER than vista.

That sure is jumping through a lot of hoops but it works. You could just as easily feed the audio through the line in to audacity and record to a variety of audio formats, in doing it this way you wouldn't need windows movie maker at all. anyway, thanks for the tutorial.

Yes, this method isn't the easiest way to do this, fersure. I will be recording an Audacity tutorial soon on doing this same thing, and should be much simpler. Thanks.

cool tutorial helped a lot..5*****
is your "audio dubbing cable" just a 3.5mm jack to jack cable?
johnnyweep59 2 years ago
The dubbing cable is a 1/8" jack, per the package. Just make sure the cable fits the size of jack you have on your tape player and Audio In.
