the Final outcome would depend which side the other nuclear powers side with. Because Iran could not stand alone against the USA with it using Nuclear weapons on them, they a need help from a major power or powers. If Iran were unable to get this help they would be all but exterminated.

@defwheezer USA has a presence there and provides security for the oil but they do not control the ecomnic portion and day to day operations of Iraq's Oil production.

@defwheezer I am not sure by what you mean By Oil Tax? But yes refined Oil products are taxed. You look from the political view, where I lok at it from buisness view. THis is what causes some friction between us.America cosumes 25% of the world's Oil output. No reasonable person is going to lost that client, so from my point of view they no reason to fear supply problems
