Alot of people think that Jihad is a sign of war or terrist's, come to the realization that Jihad is not any of that it's completely not even viollence it's just self defence, Jihad is when muslims fight in the path of Allah for example a non-mulsim country wants to kill a muslim country the muslims defend themselves.

@itaqullah News flash: Osama bin Laden inspired and helped to plan the 9/11 attacks. Many Muslims apply taqiyya in many ways. You seem to think I get my information from you: The speeches of OBL and the doctrine of taqiyya are readily readible in many good sources. Anyone can find out about these things. You cannot deny facts that anyone can look up. Al Qaeda does not represent most Muslims, but they certainly use "jihad" to mean violence against civilians. Another plain fact.

@Vincentaneous I'm not talking about OBL, I'm talking about the 9/11 attacks. It's funny how "everyone" seems to know about this taqiyya thing except muslims themselves. Please buddy, there is no such thing in Islam. What is permitted is to lie about your faith if its a matter of life and death. If someone puts a gun to your head, and if you tell them that youre muslim, it will result in your death. Then you are allowed to lie and say no to protect your life.

@itaqullah Osama Bin Laden talks about his jihad against the United States all the time. I feel sorry for you because anyone with a computer can look up these facts. Also, everyone knows that the alcohol and nude dancers were part of the taqiyya of the 9/11 terrorists. Everyone knows about how deception and un-Muslim behavior is allowed if it directly protects the faith.

@Vincentaneous Where did they exactly talk about that being jihad? In the strip clubs and bars days before the attack? Google 'Hijackers Drink Alcohol and Watch Strip Shows, Especially towards Eve of Attacks' . Trust me, if one is serious enough to do 'jihad' he sure ain't into any of this stuff. Not only did 9/11 have nothing to do with 'jihad', it had nothing to do with Muslims, period.

Jihad had nothing to do with 9/11, except of course for the fact that the hijackers and the planners ALL talked about their actions being part of their jihad. This is an issue that Muslim leaders must resolve among themselves. It doesn't matter to me because Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are all delusions. There is no God. All of this talk is a big waste of time.
