@senseisavestheworld I voted for president Obama because he was the most Intelligent Person for the job. John McCain is a war hero and he used to stand for his principles in the senate but he made a terrible mistake choosing Palin as his VP. Obama 2012!!!

@senseisavestheworld Just as a point of "official" reference, 42% of registered white voters, voted for President Obama & many of those were Republicans who could not stomach McCain's selection of Sarah Palin. America may be divided on a number of issues, but we're all not totally crazy!! :-) American blacks are less than 13% of this country. Venturing a guess, possibly a little over half that number are registered voters. So "America" indeed did elect President Obama & no specific racial group

you're definitely wrong.
it was a multitude of things.
although it is naive to believe that there was no bit of pride in someone's race that got him in, it is even more naive to say that that was all.
obama got into office because america wanted him there.
i saw people black AND white and a ton of other races vote for this man.
to say it was simply black people making a statement, is probably worse than accusing them of being racist.
