This is a video explaining how to attach the Peltor Comtac II headset to the ARC rail on the Ops-Core helmet. This is how I did it and not the real attachment system that Peltor advertises; which is outrageously expensive. This mod can be done for around 30 dollars on top of the helmet and headset. Opposed to the hundreds of dollars that Peltor charges for it's system. And yet at the same time you still get to use genuine Peltor "earmuff" attachments. This video was requested by many after seeing my DEA FAST Team Operator video. If you haven't seen that loadout then go to my channel and view it there! Make sure to comment, rate, and subscribe! Thanks!

  • I've been wondering. I don't have an Ops-Core, I have a MICH 2000 replica. Would this still work, or am I stuck with the headband?

  • @TheDiabolicalToaster It would not work with a MICH 2000 only because even if you installed the ARC rails for the MICH 2000, the ear cups on the MICH prohibit the comms to be mounted outside. So you could possibly do that on a MICH 2001 though.

  • you can now buy a set of these that actually fit the arc rails on ebairsoft for 19 dollar or £12

  • Which earmuff model did you purchase to get the proper mounting hardware for the ARC rail? I have found a few different types but I don't know which will fit or they all fit the rail.

  • @SpecialOpsM4 Thanks for the heads-up. That was my main worry before investing in it. Maybe I'll borrow a friend's 2002 to see if it works with that... Not really a fan of the 2001.

  • @Smennyboy Nope sorry, not bought a helmet yet so not bought them but for $20 its either a bargain or you can't hope for much :p

  • @Rebo00 Heard if they are any good ? I'm thinking of getting one.

  • Looks like they caught on to your idea :p. Ebairsoft are looking to start selling an adapter like the one you made :-)

G FMA PT Headset and Helmet Rail Adapter Set

I'd link it but YouTube sucks

  • There's just one thing you didn't mention, the connector with the mic adapter has to stay with the headset. Its just as simple as popping the metal bar out of the plastic clip and switching them, but i can see other people getting confused. Aside that thanks for making this video! It did help! I bought the Base Jump version in multicam a while back and it kicks ass! If you hadn't exposed this helmet to the airsoft world I doubt I would have ever come across it. Thanks again!
