As I'm typing this (phone) I'm in bed in horrible pain :-(
I have two huge ugly ones on both my feet but for some reason the left one is a bit bigger and always hurts the most, don't get me wrong the right one has it's moments but I've been considering the surgery over two years I'm just afraid later on down the line what would happen :-(

You sound like Sigourney Weaver
-
Why didn't the doc fix them both at the same time? Seems strange to go through two separate recoveries..

I love your tattoo

I wish i could say the same.. Horrible experience with a paediatric surgeon who has over 25yrs experience. Now i am seeing an orthopaedic surgeon, wish i could have my God given feet back :((

How long will it take to be able to to stand on your toes like that? I had bunion surgery about 1 and a half months ago.

How much did u pay to get your bunion removed? Just curious

I had bunion sugery when i was 16 im 24 now ago it was best thing I ever did . I remember getting bunions when I was in 4th grade. when I got 16 my left foot was horrible . My bunion was huge!!! I got both of my feet done at the same time . It was rough but I don't have to hide my feet in public anymore and I'm crying about my feet hurting when I walk . It's worth getting and u will b sleep the whole time your in surgery .
I wanted to ask, the range of motion you have when you bring your foot forward is very good! Tell me, did you have that same range about 2 months after surgery? Or was it a much less range back then and improved over time?

@NinaBlueNJ It was much less at first. The surgeon gave me exercises to do and it was slow and steady improvement over several months. I had to be patient.

What made u decide to go through with the surgery? My doctor told me that if is not bothering me to not mess with it. When I was working in a restaurant it bothered me everyday, I would come home in tears. Now I work at a desk so it doesnt bother me. But my conserns is I might not work at a desk all my life. One bunions is moving under my second toes and I think I might need it bc its not gonna get better bc I'm a very active person. So can u tell me what drove to doing surgery?

@shawnta2002191 It was starting to hurt more, and was starting to make me avoid taking long walks. I also was having more and more trouble finding shoes that would fit. My doctor said it was going to keep getting worse with time, and it made sense to have the surgery now rather than when I will be older as a smaller bunion is easier to fix and younger people heal faster. I suppose you have to look at the benefits but remember the risks of having surgery.

Great video. I just had one removed 10 days ago and my God the pain!!! How soon until it feels better?

@GinaBambina100 I know!! It was terrible for about two days, then it was merely horrible for a week or so. Then it was gradually better and better. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, by now you might be walking around a bit!

@GinaBambina100 I know! It was horrific for a day or two and then merely awful for a few weeks. It gets better though. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply to your post, it's been two months so by now you are probably feeling much better and your foot might even be looking a bit more human. I hope all went well.
