Our government structure is a Republic, look it up, we the people are supposed to have the power...we made the law (Constitution). We use democratic processes to make our laws, but they cannot violate the Constitution or the Bill of Rights.

In a democracy, whatever 51% wants...its gets...no legal protection for the minority.

The irony is that Glen Beck is a Republican propaganda agent that said that it's not about "Republicans or Democrats". Ever wonder why Glen Beck was agreeing with a person who said that the US needs another terrorist attack?

I can tell that you agree with him because you call our nation a "republic". Ask yourself this, "Who voted against gay marriage rights in California?" The people.

"Democracy" includes representation under elected officials and direct voting by citizens.
