*** Our hearts go out to his family and all of those who were injured in Reno, as well as to the entire air racing community. RIP, Jimmy. We'll miss you terribly!

  • @andgate2000 That particular Mig was built in the 60s and the type is still used is some former soviet countries. It's a updated Mig 17UM and definitely does have a burner. It was one of the first Soviet jets to have one. It's a really cool airplane and when we last saw it in August it's still in really nice shape. I belive Jimmy sold it a few years ago and I am not sure who the new owner is. It's based at Stead field.
