Let's Play Dungeon Master 2, p. 1: Setting Off into the Rain

There are (or were) already two Let's Play walkthroughs for DM2 on Youtube - DrTorte's and ChaosOmegaOWA's. So why is this one here? It's different in that
1. it's not narrated;
2. it's done with a single character;
3. it's 100.0 % uncut (I'm sure I will be dying, but I'm planning on speeding repeated stages up instead of removing them);
4. it's not made by a DM2 pro.
5. And constitutes another dose of DM2 and there's never enough of DM2.:)

Expected total length: 20-30 parts (I won't be using any external maps, just my own memory). Thanks to DrTorte and ChaosOmega for the inspiration!

In this part: darkness & rain - the two elements that represent the DM2's touching fantasy atmosphere for me. After some shopping I'm reaching Skullkeep and taking a look around the entranceway.

How did I manage to completely miss the Return of Feiwill? There's clearly something wrong with YouTube's subscriptions service...

Anyway, I always wanted to record more Dungeon Master 2 videos myself (the purely atmospheric "Bare Ruin'd Choirs" clip doesn't really count) but couldn't get past the fact that there were already two LPs out there. However, you seem to have found several interesting ways of differentiating your playthrough from earlier ones so this is going to be fun to watch...

It won't be much of a "return" as it will be of a "brief peek in", I'm afraid. But at least something. Being stuck at home with pollen flu has its good sides too.

I'm glad you like the differentiating points. The fourth one takes its toll from time to time though. If you can watch past part 13 (encoding just now), for example, you've got to be a hardcore fan of DM.

Hmmm Single Char playthrough is interesting, did it for the first Dungeon Master once.
