  • Did you guys actually call a race, or just meet up on the road? Cause the DRZ only twisted on the throttle a couple times and left you in the dust when he did. And you weren't sand bagging then, cause I could see your throttle hand and hear your RPM's. That was a pretty cool ride though. Enjoyed the vid! Not being smart above, just wandering how hard you both where riding.

  • @mrpotatoheadracing . Good observations but with the wide angle camera, the gap looks much bigger than it is. The sandbagging part is true because I normally ride that road quite a bit faster than that. The guy would give it gas in random places and the extra grunt helped him to pull away while my little 250 gained revs. I just found the guy and wanted to push him a little, not a race at all.

  • @R6Dave11 Thanks! WR250R/X bikes are pretty awesome. Suzuki was kind of running away with the D/S market until this bike, and of course, competition causes the manufactures to offer better bikes at a fair market price. Now, how about a video of that road on your R6!

  • @mrpotatoheadracing . I sold my R6 years ago, got an R1 now ( 2006 model ). I have some vids on the R1 but I have been too lazy to edit and upload them ! Maybe I should get on it.

  • Yawn! Like an old man going to the store for milk!!! Where's the pass?!??!?!

  • @killahk12345 ... Almost as bad as riding behind your slow ass !!!

  • @Hawaiianrican808 . I regularly ride with a friend that owns a DR-Z400SM. The WR is down a little on low and mid-range power but if you ride it hard, it's all good. I'm getting the 290 big bore kit next Spring, that'll fix it !

  • Nice ridin the wr hold its own against the higher displacement of the Drz400...can't wait to get 1..
