I visited Australia in 1991. I never encountered the RFDS while I was there but have learned a lot about them. They are obviously an important and respected organization and a credit to the spirit of the Australian people (a number of whom I call my friends).

Well the RFDS got my mother to the Royal Adelaide for emergency surgery. I have nothing but praise.
I wouldn't stop supporting them. Many of country people still depend on them.
What an interesting and rewarding career it must be working for the Flying Doctors. I would love to be one of the pilots.
