Not a broken record thankfully but a lovely copy of this imaginative and light hearted tune.
If you listen carefully during the vocal, you can hear the repeating clicks giving the impression that the record truly is repeating.
Vocal chorus by Billy Scott-Coomber.
Recorded January 1936.
I've only read this title before, and never heard the actual song. It's quite clever.
Of course, it only makes sense if you've played 78s and know how this can happen in real life - which means most people today will have no idea what this is referring to, and how this intentionally sounds the way an actual cracked record did.
