I discovered Peter Green 2 months ago by discovering that "Green Manalishi" is NOT a Judas Priest classic original which I had believed since 7th grade. I am addicted to the original FM now.

This album had such dismissive reviews when I researched Green. WHY??? This is one of the greatest things I"ve ever heard. Who cares if it's not a perfectly package little disk of hits? It's a f-ing collassal work of ART!!!

YES! Try to locate one of the 20 plus minute jams of Fleetwood Mac playing the Rattlesnake Shake. The best version I know of came from one of their shows at the Boston Tea Party [ forgot what year it was, about 1970]...it's incredible. 3 guitarists swapping licks for almost half an hour. For years the only way you could hear it was to buy a bootleg vinyl album called Cerulean, a friend of mine paid a hundred dollars for that album in 1988. For years it was considered the greatest jam of all time

Wow Thanks for the info. I have listened to this a lot and I have never been able to decide if its great , good, bad or over my head. I once put M.Davis's BItches Brew on my left ear and this in my right just to see what would happen. or was it this album on my right ear and vice versa
