I was at this show. I too miss this band. For a brief time, they were poised to carry the "LA band" torch that had previously been held by such luminaries as the Doors, X, and Jane's Addiction. Alas, it wasn't to be, but the music lives on. Besides that, Carla and Nels are busy proving (to no one's surprise) that they will always be artists with something to say.
