Joe's POV
It's been 4 months away from Demi. Meaghan has been sticking me in HELL. I wish I could go back, go back and tell her how much I miss her. 4 months ago, we were so built up in frustration, that we freaked out over each other. Now, Meaghan... She is a son of a bitch. I have tried so many times to go and visit Demi, but everytime I step out of the door, she's by my side. And just 2 days ago, she told me something. I was cooking at the time, frying pancakes for my little daughter. The flames rising up, the pan is smoking, in goes the batter. I flip the pancake as Meaghan walks in. "Hey baby!" She says smiling brightly, rubbing her stomach. "Meaghan. For the MILLIONTH time, I am not your baby, and I am living here because of the law." I tell her, annoyed. "But babe! We have a baby!" She cried out happily. "WHAT!?" I shout out, dropping the burning pan, Tayler jumping out just in time. "WE NEVER HAD SEX!" I continue to scream. "What do you mean baby? Remember that one night" She says, smiling at what she thinks is seductively. I roll my eyes. I haven't had sex since the one time me and Demi had it. Meaghan was a hoe. She went to the club a few days back. No wonder why she's pregnant now. So moving back into the present, I grab Tayler and we go out to the backyard, where I have built her a slide and a see-saw. Meaghan went outside and shouted: "I'M GOING OUT FOR A LITTLE WHILE!" Like I cared? Tayler and I ran around, Tayler trying to catch me. Suddenly, I heard the phone ring. I raced inside to get it. "Mr. Jonas?" I heard the person say, "Yes?" I asked. "You must come to the jail. Miss Lovato, has gone kind of... Mad." He told me. "I'm on my way!" I informed him. "Tayler?" I called. "Coming Daddy! Where are we going?" She asked, after watching me grab my keys. "We're going to go see Mommy, honey!" I said excitedly. "MOMMY!" She cried, jumping into my arms. I carried her to the car, glad that Meaghan wasn't there to stop me. Tayler and I rushed to the Jail and we ran in. "Demi Lovato please?" I asked urgently. The guy nodded, and I heard screaming coming from a jail cell. "WHY! WHY! WHY ME!" It screamed. I raced over to it, for I knew that voice. "DEMI!" I shouted, running over to her. "Please, please unlock her." I pleaded. The guy silently agreed and unlocked the Jail cell.
Joe: Demii.
Demi: -slaps him across the face-
Joe: -falls to the ground in pain-
Demi: -eyes full of anger and hurt- HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!?
Joe: What did I do wrong!?
Demi: HOW COULD YOU GET MEAGHAN PREGNANT!?
Joe: WHAT!? I didn't get her pregnant!
Demi: SHE CAME OVER HERE AND TOLD ME SHE WAS PREGNANT! I saw her baby bump Joe!
Joe: That wasn't me! The last time I had sex was with you.
Demi: What?
Joe: Meaghan's a hoe. She probably got hooked up with some fucker in a club.
Demi: NO! YOU'RE LYING TO ME!
Joe: Why would I lie to you? I love you!
Demi: DO YOU EVEN LOVE ME!?
Joe: I DO! OF COURSE I DO!
Demi: -quiets down, whispers- Then why does it seem like you don't love me anymore?
Joe: -leans down to Demi's height, kisses her hair- I'll always love you. It doesn't matter if you're in China and I'm in Boston, our love is strong enough to bring us back into each others' arms.
Demi: -Kisses him-
Joe: -kisses back, then pulls away-
Tayler: -runs up to Demi- MOMMY!
Demi: TAYLER! -hugs her tightly- I missed you so much sweetie!
Tayler: Mommy?
Demi: Yes sweetie?
Tayler: How come people say that people in jail are bad people? You're in jail, but mommy's not bad.
Demi: Not all people that are in jail are bad people sweetie, just some of them. Now come here and give me a big kiss!
Tayler: -leans over and kisses Demi on the cheek- I love you mommy.
Demi: I love you too sweetheart.
Joe: -holds their hands- Demi, we'll come visit as soon as we can. Meaghan's practically locked us in her house.
Demi: I'll be here waiting.
Joe: I love you.
Demi: I love you too.
Joe and Demi share a soft passionate kiss before pulling away, leaving Tayler hugging Demi's leg, looking up at them.
