WHYY-TV's On Canvas features the Heartless Bastards, Wednesday February 24 at 8PM!

It's hard to imagine that Erika Wennerstrom, the lead singer and front woman for the Heartless Bastards, may not have ever been a musician. After so many years of working at bars in Dayton, Ohio, she put pen to paper and voice to microphone. Erika's voice is a combination of Robert Plant and PJ Harvey and her lyrics cut to the heart of lessons learned the hard way. Touring with
their most recent and critically acclaimed album, TheMountain, Heartless Bastards perform at The Electric Factory, in Philadelphia.
