I woke up on a rainy / sunny day in september and felt for playing some jazz on my diatonic harps. I did that a lot maybe 5 years ago, but has since then I mainly been playing and practising chromatic harmonica. I can not choose just one of them, they offer different things in different situations.

So here I jam with a backing track between two before-lunch-coffees.

I use a Suzuki Firebreath diatonic harmonica.

  • Hi Filip, really hope I may play as well as you!

Do you need to set the harp to overbend setting??

  • @jimmyharp Hi, yes I did the normal stuff, embossing with UST-tool, reed gapping, tuning, etc

  • great man!!! so beautiful to hear a diatonic sounding jazz. Is that 12th position?

  • @AraguaJam Yes or 1st flat - same thing.

  • Thanks, Filip, This was a beautiful way to start my morning. The future of the harp is clearly in good hands.

  • @avidgreen Thank you very much for your nice words ! I´ll promise to do my best !
