BALL AND VASE - Andy Field Birmingham Magician

www.andyfield.info. A lot of you enjoyed my Cup and Ball video. I know that many of you wanted me to teach my routine but this would not be possible for a number of reasons. However, I know that a lot of you were very keen to learn something so I released this Ball and Vase video as a compromise. I know that many of you have this trick - even if it's just a plastic one. If you don't have one it's very cheap and easy to get one. This is my routine. As you can see you can do so much more with this vase than just make a ball appear and disappear. It also uses some moves that can be used in a Cup and Ball routine. I started my routine with a wand spin so people know I mean business! Get your Ball Vase out and make your own routine up! :) - Andy

That is a sad way of looking at things. I have been into magic a year now. Been interested in it longer, but just really been performing now a year. And to me it (magic) is still magical! I love the performances, even if i know how the trick is done and can follow it step by step. I know how he does this trick, ever lil bit of it. But it does not make it less magical. I love this trick, and he does it extremely well. The ball and vase was my first trick, probably my favorite trick.

The illusion would be better if we had eye contact or something else. If you only see his hands its very easy to spot the "move" each time, getting the attention away from his hands would make the illusion more credible.

man there is one thing that I hate about magic and that is the more you learn the less magcal it is. I remember when I first started two years ago you were my absolute idol I thought you were amazing and I wanted to learn everything. Two years later and a lot of hardwork and I can follow a trick like this on my first runthrough. So a warning to people who want to get into magic, don't do it unless you can handle the magic disappearing.
