  • Do you still recommend this press setup. I will be ordering the stuff I need today and wanted your opinion. Also, do you still set your rivets with a hammer and the rivet setters from knife kits?

  • @mccullenj yeah man, i love my setup. but there is plenty of good kydex press designs. this one works for me good because its small. if you check out that latest kydex tutorial you can see that i made the arms longer to get better leverage on the press but its pretty much the same exact thing. it works great for me

  • @mccullenj and yep, still hammer, only difference is that i have the bottom setter piece set in the vice now

  • lol kydex shit-making xD... sorry.... nice vid tho :D

  • @Lihaschu lol yeah i hear that a lot from friends :) im trying im trying, hard to get rid of the heavy accent and tweak out the phonetics :) thanks. the press has been upgraded if you want to see, its in the newer kydex sheath step by step tutorial video...

  • @gavkoo awesome (that was a fast reply ^^) i'm not american myself but i speak german which means it is quite easy for me to learn english since they're both germanic languages. just keep learning and one day you might just sound like a native american ;). tho that would be a pity because your accent sounds bad ass xD. where are you from by the way?

  • @Lihaschu slovakia. english is easy language to learn but the phonetics are really different from our slavic language... so the accent is heavy... happen to sit behind the pc so replying fast :)

  • The paper towels are a great idea. Another poster showed how he had to replace the foam often, due to damage from heat.

  • @gavkoo hah I wouldn't worry about it man great video!
