At 8am, on August 2, 2011, a strong thunderstorm moved into downtown St.Cloud and toppled a few trees and powerlines. Street flooding was reported as well. This a day after an intense lightning storm thundered through the city, and a month after a severe thunderstorm toppled dozens of trees in the area. St.Cloud, Minnesota has endured a rash of damaging wind and street flooding this summer.
