To be the President of the USA, the Constitution of the USA indicates that he must be "a natural born citizen". To be a natural born citizen, he MUST meet 2 conditions:

1) he must be born in the USA.

2) he must be born of two American parents.

Both conditions are required!

1) is NOT met, as Obama never showed a LONG FORM birth certificate!

2) is IMPOSSIBLE TO MEET, as Obama's father was NEVER an American!

Hence, Obama is NOT a natural born citizen and is NOT eligible to be President of the USA!

Were you to print the full quote from Minor you would find that not only does it leave open that those not born under those conditions could also be NBC, but that the Supreme Court refused to define 'NBC' in that case. Obama is the legally eligible and current President of the US.

@borderraven As usual your historical facts are incorrect. Since VPs are subject to the same requirements as POTUS, several would "break precedent." Among these would be VPs Agnew, Humphrey and Curtis. Among the major nominees are Hughes, Fremont, Dukakis and others, and many major candidates for both offices.

There is not a single current judge, congressman, constitutional scholar or law professor who agrees with your interpretation of the natural born citizen clause.

September 17, 1787, some 11 years, 2 months after Declaration of Independence was adopted, the United States Constitution adopted. On that date all present became the first US citizens, and those future presidents not yet natural born became eligible, all born after this date, must be a "Natural Born Citizen".
