  • Man your are really a good player, clean and accurate :D

I really like this track, you should compose more if you got fantasy

I'm a total newbie at the moment with guitar just started 2 month ago and trying to self learn with a friend help.

I'm courious about a thing, what's the difference from a normal fretboard and a scalloped fret. like your ?

Thx fot the time and well done again man!

  • The main difference is that you aren't fighting against any wood when you're bending the strings/doing vibrato. That's it really, doesn't make it easier or harder to play fast or anything like that.

  • Well thanks, what pedal you use or suggest to buy for play a Malmsteen similar style ?

  • Well the obvious one would be the DOD YJM308 overdrive pedal, and you'll also need the BOSS NS 2 noise suppressor, as the DOD is very noisy. But the most important thing is the guitar(and pickups) and amp...then the pedal.

  • can you play bar chords with a scalloped fretboard just wondering lovely playing

  • yeah, though it can be somewhat difficult to stay completely in tune.

  • playing clean is crucial to guitar playing, and this guy knows full well that to be true

  • tab will be great sir :)

  • Hi mate ,are you going to birmingham guitar fest to see malmsteen in july, could catch up if you,re down there amigo!!

    Cheers

  • Sounds very cool, good harmonies for a great power ballad!

  • man something awesome would be to put this on a backing track, and after the chorus has been played through once, break out in a solo, and end with that last bit you had.. very good.

  • What Marshall's are you using?

  • Tab plz !!!! !!! !! !! !!

  • i just love it

  • dammit i wanted that guitar i play pressing kinda hard thanks though

  • yeah

  • hey if you press a note too hard down on the fret does it mess up a string because of the special frets

  • hey if you press a note too hard down on the fret does it mess up a string because of the special frets

  • Cool..!

  • a hairmetal-song with this melody would be fucking great, oh damn i'm becoming nostalgically

  • fucking nice melody, very good =)

  • thats true. i learned alot more by just sitting at my computer with my strat and just watchin SRV or Jimi play and just learning it like that. well different people learn differently. all your stuff sounds great though man keep it up!

  • I still stand by self taught, I don't really practise that much, but I've made more improvement in the last year self taught than I did over 3 years of lessons(when I used to practise a lot)

  • amen to that brotha. i have taught myself for 6 years, been playing seriously nonstop for about 2 years, i am on scholarship for voice and guitar. i'm being taught now by a great player at my school. i'm learning so much more now that i understand the basics of guitar. i suggest self-teaching then taking lessons later.

  • started 8years ago, but then stopped for some years. playing seriously for around 16 months now. took lessons when I started, but self taught now, I find self taught to be the best. everyone is different, so you just gotta find what works for you, that's why I don't take lessons
