David and I fly down to Florida in his Cessna Mustang jet, fill the entire airplane (cabin, nose baggage, rear baggage) with tents for Haiti, and fly them over to Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. From there they will be ferried in a propeller-driven airplane to a small airport in Haiti. Then we went back to Florida and picked up another load of tents...

  • Were we close to max takeoff weight? This is a bizjet! We're close to max takeoff weight with two people and full fuel. For the Haitian operation we carried minimum fuel and maximum tents and were about 20 lbs. under gross at takeoff.
