@munted1968 Its a per share trading fee with Direct Access software. Not the typical 8.95 per trade stuff.

@F1N1TY that's really not enough to learn with. it takes time and capital to make the learning mistakes needed for a fair chance. You can always look into Prop trading with other peoples money like with SMB capital for example. Those guys are the best

To: Munted1968. OPTIONS HAVE TO CLEAR THE STRIKE PRICE BY THE SHARES PREMIUM.

Example:

PUTS, 46.0 - 0.50 = 45.50.

CALLS 46.0 + 0.50 = 46.50.

It is not the same as trading pure stocks, where a 0.10 gain is all yours. No, it has to clear the STOCKS PREMIUM before one can make a gain. This is what makes pure stock trading more palatable to many instead of options. Options do have their place if used correctly with the full understanding and purpose.
