I cant eat, if I do my throat and ears are on fire. Its simply frustrating. Hadnt had a decent meal in 3 days.

I have strep throat and been eating chicken noodle soup for 2 days then said screw it!!!! I ate a jr bacon cheeseburger and a large CHILI hahahah!

I've got strep throat now, heaven knows how I got it. It feels like I'm swallowing shards of glass. I've had symptoms of swollen glands, heat ache, fever, shivers, stomach ache, and even ear ache. I've had a loss of appetite but I managed to eat half a meal once I had painkillers and my throat stopped hurting, the pain's come back now twice as worse. And I'm now on my second day :/

I have had strep throat for the last 2 days and I swear the intensity of the pain for the simple act of swallowing is unreal....its like trying to swallow red hot razors..am on Augmentin,metronidazole and panadeine for pain relief....also taking manuka honey and oral paracetemol...and still its having hardly any effect lol!

had strep throat the past week. the pain is really indescribable. cant eat, drink, even sleeping hurts cus your throat will dry up extremely fast and it will irritate the throat.

but after taking antibiotics, within 24hrous the pain will subside.

and also, honey really helps in replenishing body fluids cus water is just too painful to swallow.

I kicked this things ass back in the spring with straight salt and no water. I know it sounds crazy but sprinkle some salt in the back of your throat and leave it there for 10 seconds or how ever long you can hold it in and it will releve the pain.
