I practice hapkido here in the US, and I have got to say, I like the demonstration you all performed here. Keep up the good work.

@sregi22 As far as forward and backward breakfall rolls, I know from having done those on pavement that it's basically the same cuz you roll like a wheel and energy gets absorbed that way...as opposed to being concentrated on one part of the body when you hit the ground crashing on it flat. Not to mention the momentum picks you back up and you get to end up on your feet again. Just when you are learning don't do it on concrete obviously.

@sregi22 The idea is to take the impact with your arms instead of your head, neck or back; a broken arm is better than a broken neck!

@sregi22 Why would you want to try it on concrete?
Falling is mostly about enabling the body to take a landing softer. Someone who has learned how to roll in the gym will roll a lot easier on concrete than someone without any falling skills.
Also learning how to fall is enabling your partner to execute his technique in a more realistic manner.
