Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar(R) winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar(R) winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on "Batman Begins" and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

This is the best trilogy ever made in my opinion.

The first time I saw each one of these movies I was stunned. They blowed my mind.

The story is amazing and not like any other movie out there. They create an incredible dramatic tension in the films and end them in a even more dramatic way. I dont know how they do it, but it is truly amazing. Im sad they're not gonna continue the films though, really sad.

Lets be honest. First movie was amazing, one of my favorite movies ever,awesome soundtrack,story and actors, Depp played one of coolest movie characters ever.

He stole the show, just like joker did in DK.

2nd movie was funny and not that bad.

Third one i watched in theaters same as first two wich i enjoyed a lot but third one was damn boring, i can't remember not a single scene.95% of movie they talk. 4th movie at least had more action and was fun to watch but no old characters anymore..

I liked only first Pirates of The Caribbean movie, the rest were messed up and hard to catch story. I like Lord of the rings too but its over rated movie.

They use too much cgi these days instead of animatronics wich can look more realistic. 60% of lotr is pure cg.Nolan in his TDK movies is using cgi only when its necessary.
