I didn't say that Bush wasn't book-smart. But if you're gonna compare him to Washington, methinks you should read over Washington's farewell address again and see how far Bush and really every president since FDR have wandered off-track from that advice.

I can give you quite the list of immature Democrat congresspersons too, but Wilson was outta line by a mile here and I think the president handled it quite well. I, for one, still have faith that he has the best intentions for this bill and it's effect on the nation. we'll see though...

I'm also sorry you felt the need to downvote both of my responses. I'm neither a democrat nor republican. In fact, I'm the exact middle of the political spectrum.
I don't see where in the bill Obama is for complete government control either...? Maybe it's just my idealism shining through, but I actually had faith in our nation for a while to look beyond his party and see a man who's trying to break down the barriers of our outdated two parties. I guess we'll see though...
