Starring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and spunky but beautiful Natalie Wood. The subject is a New-York-to-Paris wacky auto race in the early of the 20th century, with plenty of slapstick, fantastic and great-adventure actions.
It's said that Hanna-Barbera Productions was inspired by this film and created a crazy cartoon series; 'Wacky Races' in 1968.

  • Love this movie. One of the funniest ever,

  • 4:58 cool :'D

  • what a classic first a movie then a cartoon I would watch when I was 6 years old

  • The Hannibal 8 was at the Petersen Car Museum in L.A (at least it was when I was there in July 2010) . It was sitting right next the original Green Hornet's car (driven by Bruce Lee) and Tom Selleck's car from Magnum P.I.

  • Tony Curtis..was the gentleman..who was able to get director..Blake Edwards..to give a part to comic actor:Larry Storch in this scene as"Texas Jack".

  • @HWolfeIII STOP THAT PIDGEON!!

  • Nelson - weird as it sounds, you're not the only one.

  • I hate to say it, but this movie had a profound effect on me when I saw it as a kid. Tony Curtis became the template for what a real hero was supposed to be like. All in all, it hasn't been a bad thing.

  • I remember the Wacky Races as a kid, can you say, "Penelope Pitstop?"
