R.I.P. Whisper - Farewell my friend :(

Whisper was a 13 year old black labrador and was put to sleep today July,6th, 2010 at 5:20 pm. She was one of the best dogs that we've ever had and unfortunately her hip was dislocated and she couldn't survive the procedure so we had to put her down.
To any other people who have lost their, loved ones, please keep your chins up, because they are just watching over us as our guardians :).

Thanks guys :) Yeah Whisper was my sisters dog and we've had her since we were little, my dog (Taylor) passed away a couple years ago and she was 14. But we do have our Chocolate Lab, Hersey (3 yrs) and our Labradoodle, Lala (1 yr). So we can't be sad forever.

I'm so sorry :'( I know how hard it must be.... I've lost 4 of my childhood pets so far, and they were all very hard to get through. I'm glad you are still able to remember the nice things about her though x) R.I.P Whisper.....

Oh! I am so sorry:( This school year was really hard for me too because I had to put to sleep my two dogs : Kia and Kiara :( I had them from my childhood...Kia was put to sleep in September and she was 14 and Kiara was put to sleep 4 weeks ago:(

It was really hard for me:(

I know the pain. I had a Chocolate Lab that we put down last summer. It's been about a year since then. We've had him for the longest time. I think we was about 10 or 11 years old. I remember waking up really early in the morning, around 4 I believe, before he was going to put down that day. I had him on my lap and I was crying while I was petting him. lol, I'm starting to cry.
