TONY WILSON NURSERY SONGS "The fish in the sea/ 1 2 3 4 5"

The first, original, song was from when I was teaching in South Tyneside and a girl in my Y1 class asked the question, "Do the fish get when when it rains?" and that led to this song being composed. I have used it all over the country and when I was at a Child Minders' Convention in Hartlepool I was asked to record it and sing it for the candidates. I have also included the actions that go with the song and the Nursery Rhyme 1 2 3 4 5 once I caught a fish alive. I have CD of 48 Nursery songs so if you would like me to record more on DVD then let me know.

Thanks for that. I know I wrote it and I'm neary four times your age but I still love the quirky, inverted logic of children's songs, so don't see it as a bad thing, it's all just music. I'm as likely to listen to U2, Joni Mitchell, the Macabees, Tarras and Lady Gaga, as I am to nursery rhymes. Tony

Thank you for your gift of music. My granddaughter still loves you, sings to your songs and always is saying "Tony, Tony, Tony." and that means go to you tube and put on your music!

I remember a nursey rhyme my nana used to sing me it wen five little frogs sitting on a log one saw a frog so then he jumped off and so on so forth with either the same thing a fly or something different like a cake to challenge me I would go that's not what frogs eat then she would tickle me lol I would love it if you try to put a tune to it
