What a single this was. Another track from Moods of Marvin Gaye, summer 1966. It was re-mixed and released the following year giving it a brighter ambiance. I call it the 'piano' mix for obvious reasons. Much better than the album track mix. It's also about 40 seconds longer. Don't know how that got passed the radio station managers. Talk about subversive--but in a good way. So glad to see so many of you dig it like I do. Keep the faith, y'all!!

This is one of my favorite songs ever. "Your Unchanging Love" is swinging, groovy, bluesy, happy, and the sound of a man who did all the things that he wanted (or thought that he wanted to do) and found that his true love is an unchanging and steady rock for his life. H-D-H, Mr. Maaaaaaaaaarvin Gaye(!), the Funk Brothers, Motown, and Berry Gordy Jr. (Mr. Motown himself!!!)...: Life, mine and so many others, and the world would not be the same without those folks and their magic. I LOVE MOTOWN!

I Heard It Through The Grapevine, lost out to this song as a single release in 1967, and went back in the can for a year

this is the better marvin gaye sound. i love the background vocals and tambourine and piano. i really do not like the 70's material like "what's goin on" "Distant Lover and all that bull. this is the sound!!!!!!!!!
