everyone wants to come camping with me now... thanks to your vids..... got my first dutch oven last year.. ordering another for this camping season..... the only way to eat!!!... don think i will even take the gas stoves this year..

Its very good to place an aluminum ( very thick) plate under the oven, for heat distribution,, Aluminum conducts heat more than 3 times better than cast iron.

I agree that you should have stacked the chicken on top of the beans (since the chicken needs so much attention) - I also suggest waiting 45 minutes instead of very 15 and that will keep the meat on the bones - and you should have used just one bottle to start with, the chicken juices seem to thin the sauce out at first but by the time it gets done cooking the flavors will be more ntense - if it looks too dry after the first check you can always add more.
