Man I saw Ray and his band live in Costa Rica a couple of years ago... there was only a hand full of us, but they still played as in front of thousands of fans. It was such a great concert !
Lemon yellow sun and Wake up your mind are my favs from the She album.
in any case, genesis was probably an important and formative stage in ray wilson's career. and CAS represents that stage. i know ray still plays genesis songs from CAS and other albums at his shows, so there's an indication of the influence of genesis, not to mention the songwriting style.
i'll try to get the calling all stations album so that i can listen to it in full.
i have only heard a few CAS tracks, such as Congo, Shipwrecked, Not About Us, and If That's What You Need. i particularly like Shipwrecked, Not About Us...
i guess i was referring more to the post-CAS situation, when the rest of Genesis decided to stop turning a third leaf (i think it would've been great if Ray continued as frontman of genesis). and ray was pretty much left in the lurch, based on what i've read in the interviews with wilson.
I don't think so. CAS is still great album with strong potential.. But only the band (Mike and Tony) defeated him as a person, but only for one moment..
Now he is playing on his own... and succeed. Music is part of his life, that's why he is really enoying again.
@standardspolice Ok, I bet you have 7 other yt accounts to thumbs your comment up. Fucking idiot. I'd like to see you do better, go upload it please.

good point. when i was typing my comment i realized that "debacle" wasnt exactly the best word, but at the time i had no other word to use.
