What does it mean to be Greek?

A simple question that asks from all the Greeks, what does it actually mean to be Greek?

What are the values?
What do you need to understand?
What do you need to believe?
Do you need to speak a specific language?
Do you need to be a certain faith?
Do you need to have a certain ancestry?
What qualifies you as a Greek?
Who can be accepted to be Greek?

of the ancient Greek tribes of Macedonians, Spartans,

Corinthians, Boeotians, Thebans, Locrians, Cretans,
