  • Sorry for the late reply but it's not my car. The new LT1 that is running 9's with this motor pretty much has all the suspension mods...Wolfe rear sway bar and roll bar, adjustable pan hard, adjustable shocks and drag springs, adjustable LCA's, 9" rear end, nitrous ready drive shaft, and after market torque arm. If I'm not mistaken, he was running a 700R4 tranny but now has a powerglide.

  • is the temp gauge reading right i have a 94 z28 and it reads hotter than it should i heard they have a problem with that but

  • please let me know what is your engine temperature running in the street?is your radiator stock? my camaro 94 z28 have 383 LT1 engine but is running very hot in the street, almost 3/4 of the total temp. indication in the dash gauge

  • That's freaking sick, I love it..

  • To get into the 9's? Im assuming everything is forged to handle a 450 and the fuel system is up to par. Next I would look into your rear end and make sure it can handle it(hardened shaft) or just go straight out 9 inch. Roll Cage to save you and your frame, SFCs are always a good idea, and Springs made for the track for launching. There is plenty of stuff to do, you could always call Spohn I'm sure they would help you out.

  • hi i have a 383 lt1 bored .030 over with 4 bolt main with 210 afr heads dragon slayer crank, calies conecting rods, diamond piston 11.1 compression, solid nitrous cam and im building it right now ill be done in less than a month at tpis and they said this combo will give me 550 hp asperated and then engine will handle a 450 shot daily at the track and i have a 94 camaro 6 speed 3.7.3 gears and stage 5 clutch what type of suspension do u have have to get that in the 9s thanks matt

  • MetalHead the "LT 350 CI" you were talking about is an LT1, the block is 350 cubic inches. 383 is just a stroked 350... IE it uses a 400 crank for a longer stroke and .030 over brings it up to 383. They sell plenty of kits.

  • Not sure. I'm an LS1 guy. Don't know if you mean LT1 350. I've never heard of the LT 350.

  • Sweet but do you know if the LT1 is different than the LT 350 CI or if it's the same thing?

  • It's not my car. If you click on my username, you'll see some videos of a red Formula. That's mine. I don't know much about the setup. It came with the car when the owner bought it. They tweeked it after they moved it into the other LT1 and now it runs 9's on a 250 shot. This video was when it was "slower" on a 150 shot, all the suspension, and a little bit of weight reduction.
