how do xenia spread is there like a little foot that walks untill the xenia splits please help

@OZZYTYLER2008 Thats a good question. From my experiance it seems to just spread alittle by little across the rock maybe by water flow or spawning. Im not quite sure. I would google it.. Thanks

what do you dose. do you have a calcium reactor and do you have halides? i've had xenia in my tank for about 2 months .its grown but compared to yours it hasn't grown at all including my finger leather . i have 432w T5's my tank is 75g with about 80-90lbs liverock ,sump ,hang-on refugium and a protein skimmer. don't quit making vids

I dont know why my corals are growing out of control. Soon The toadstool will be way to big for the 75 gallon tank. My light fixture puts out 7.3 watts per gallon 2 T5s and 4 actinic lights. Along with the moon lights but they only aesthetics. I do add calcium about a tee spoon a week, also add other essential elements once a week. I do water changes and clean the protein skimmer about 1 or 2 times every other week.

Does the sump helps the corals to grow larger that's why u have so many? I am planning to bring my tank to the pet store so that the reef pet store can drilled it for a cheaper price? did u got your tank drilled from a pet store right?

My tank is not drilled. I have a hang in over flow box.

man that xenia is growing like crazy i cant seem to keep that stuff alive what lighting u using.oh and on that algae bubble make a syphon that covers the whole bubble an suck it out turn off all flow before u do it and take out about 10 gal when u do it it happen to me it p grew 2 times in the same spot for me and then never seen it again

xenia corals are taking over your tank lol I think bio balls was helping the xenia coral to grow really fast because mine is doing it too thanks to bio balls and it brings my coral back to life now I love bio balls
