Musical instruments put Lulu on trial for music abuse. After they chase her, she mends her ways and practices the violin.

In the mid-1940s, Lulu appeared in a series of theatrical animated shorts produced by Famous Studios for Paramount Pictures from 1943 to 1948. In all, twenty-six Little Lulu cartoons were released in a period of less than five years. In 1947, Paramount decided to stop paying Little Lulu creator Marge licensing royalties, and created a Lulu clone, Little Audrey, as a replacement. Today, theatrical rights are once again held by Paramount (via NTA successor, Republic Pictures), while Republic licensee Lions Gate Home Entertainment holds video rights, although any sort of official DVD reissue has yet to be announced. CBS Paramount Television holds TV rights. Many of the Little Lulu cartoons have fallen into the public domain, and are available on public domain DVDs and videos such as this one.

  • Estreado nos cinemas americanos em 24 de janeiro de 1947, e originalmente da Paramount/Famous Studios. Saiu em VHS pela extinta DIV na coletânea "As aventuras de Luluzinha" com o título "Musical da Luluzinha".

  • Ha-ha, she calls the "lyre" a "liar"

  • OMG I used to watch this when I was a little boy, so many years ago, what a nostalgic time I just had

  • What ever happened to Little LuLu?

  • I guess most modern musicians would have to go to the Musical Court of Justice - especially singing off-key without tune and still become recording artistes!

We are definitely in dire need of a Musical Court of justice !
