Northwestern Kenya, close to Ethiopian border, consist of a huge salty desert: the North Orr Oasis lies in the middle of it, totally isolated, and it is inhabited by a very handsome population of evident Nilotic origin

  • No, these are Gabbra villagers, of Easthern Cushidic origin (nilotic): they are mostly nomadic shepherds with camels, goats, donkeys and sheep, traveling around northern Kenyan deserts. Some of them have settled down in some oasis, like North Orr and South Orr. Women organised themselves to host travellers, preparing food and even putting up some excellent singing show for them.

  • LOL These people are Cushites, they got nothing to do with Nilotes. The Nilotes already destroyed the Rendilles. Intermarriage between Nilotes and Cushites must stoped and forbidden. Cushites Waaq created them in unique way and shall preserve their heritage and culure. Having said that, doesn't mean I disrespect or hater others, after seeing my Rendille brothers changed, I denounce any intermarriage between Cushites and none cushites for our survival.

  • cushites are not related to nilotes, but some nilotes have some cushitic dna

  • Are these Borana or Rendille women? And where is this? Isiolo? I like their dance.
