A lot of stuff has changed since this was taken. As part of the Guard Force now, I can tell you for a fact that a response like this was most definitely necessary back in the day. Detainees were very ridiculous. But now we have them in a more locked down secure area that they dont have the chance to do what they use to. Camp Bucca is soon to shut down and all detainees wil be transferred soon. Thanks to all from the past who made this possible. Wish you could be here to see it close!

@jaiitup Apparently you didn't read the section that authorized the use of video cameras for these purposes? Riots, Prisoner Extracts, etc. The videos are used at a later time for higher authority and and legal issues that may/will arise as a result of riots. We used video/digital cameras all the time when searching rooms/tents just for the purpose of covering our asses.
Of course Joe with an unauthorized camera isn't going to be filming like he is George Lucas and just walking around.

Man, Bucca sure did change from march 2003. I remember when we laid the first length of wire. Nothing seems to have changed, besides the 12 foot fences. Those Light trailers for there right before I left in march 2004.

these detainees did this shit alot until the maidi army or al queida or who ever started doing IDF attacks and killin more detainees then americans after that they didn't think we were bad after all. that place was my best deployment though

weren't cameras restricted on the TIF? one of our guys got an article 15 for having an ipod on the TIF. i just noticed that you were navy, that explains it.

@mich3620 I've read that thick ass SOP and I'm pretty sure, electronic devices including cameras were not allowed on the TIF, especially to tape a riot. I'm surprised you haven't gotten in trouble, I know the TIF is closed by now, I know i was there 2008-2009, but this video was posted in 2007 when these rules ment something.
