As we approach The Tail of the Dragon, US 129 connecting Tennessee to North Carolina, we come upon TN state trooper running what appears to be constant-on CO 35.5 Ka. We first round the curve just as he pulls out in front of us for a slow three minute ride following him and a very large tractor/trailor.

  • Why do you have radar detectors? Doesn't that drive you nuts listening to those all of the time?

  • Better than listening to the fast approaching siren from behind. :)

  • LOL dual escorts... they probably paid for themselves multiple times

  • Ahhh you V1 lovers. Hey I use to love the V1 as well but it has become out dated for commercial drivers or people who gets tired of being alerted to a CVS nearby. When is the next generation of V1 coming out? Hope it has a GPS capability (like 9500ix) or stealthy (like the Redline or Sti Driver) then I may consider getting one.

  • @JamesJK Before the alert you can see the letter H on the STi. That means Highway.

  • @kennethmiranda00 i have both redline is better fag the distance on ka band and k band is absolutely insane plus with instant on its better the arrows are great but u dont need them ur detector goes off slow the fuck down pure and simple

  • why didn't use the auto mute?

  • Only wish the Redline, had e more feature to be completely the best. the feature like the v-1 has, to tell which direction you're being hit from and when passing the source. then, and possibly a Real True rear antenna.

  • Thanks for all these videos, they've been a great help!

  • @dfton I may be wrong, but i'm pretty sure trucks are restricted from driving thru the tail of the dragon cause the corners are too sharp.

  • @VollgasHero how the fuck do you know that?
