Doesn't matter how much she has been around birds, a quick nip from a bird will bring a response, cats (like dogs) carry Pasteurella and it will kill a bird from the slightest contact. I have a grey and a cat, they are never allowed in open proximity to each other, its never worth the risk.

PARROTS RULE!!! Teeheehee, thanks for sharing!
I'm glad Sadie keeps her distance. It's safer for the parrots that way.

She grew up 9 years with birds. She has no front claws and I wouldn't have a cat except for Sadie. I love my birds too much to chance it.

I know that you are a great parrot companion and you have given me great advice on my 5! I admire what you do in your rescue work with parrots and wild birds. You are a good person and your bird/parrot companions are lucky to have you in thier lives!

Thank you! That was a very nice thing to say. It's especially nice, coming from a nice bird lover, like yourself! :)

He heh I used to have a cat that would sit on the couch and watch TV with me and my Guinea Pig.
