  • Excellent images, and that music is a classic associated with childhood memories of old railway Newsreel films...do you know what it's called please? 5* Bob

  • Thank you Bob, it's the 'Coronation Scot'

  • Shame Scots Guardsman didn't keep it's LMS black livery as it looked stunning in it. Having said that it looks very smart in BR green. A credit to all those WCR who overhauled it, I look forward to seeing how se fairs on the mainline!!!

Perhaps the LMS black could be concidered in the future when a re-paint is needed!:D

  • Hopefully we'll see her on the mainline soon!

  • What a lot of people tend to forget is that 48151 never carried the name Gauge O Guild in service. I could understand the name on something other than an 8F, but I think that there are too many named Black Fives. By the way I think the paint on 46115's tender was still wet!

  • Yes, I'd heard that it was too!
