NARS Celebrates Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself

NARS celebrated the launch of Founder & Creative Director François Nars' newest beauty book Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself in New York City.

François Nars was joined by subjects from the book, as well as Martha Stewart, Alexa Chung, Lake Bell, Tinsley Mortimer, Calvin Klein, Anna Sui, Patti Wilson, Simon Doonan, Grace Coddington, Fern Mallis, Carol Alt, Shenae Grimes, Becka Diamond, Erin Fetherston, Byrdie Bell, Topaz Page-Green, Zani Gugelmann, Lily Rabe, Amanda Lepore, Richie Rich, Elise Øverland, , Eddie Borgo, Mickey Boardman, Ginta Lapina, Britt Maren, French DJs Les Jumeaux and others.

Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself, the ultimate beauty manual, turns the lens on real women and men of differing ages and ethnicities, bringing together makeup-application instruction and vivid portraits of "before" and "after" images with overlaid acetate diagrams. To complement the launch of the book, NARS recently unveiled www.makeupyourmind.com, a community website that encourages fans of the brand to recreate looks from the book and upload their images for the chance to win a trip backstage with the brand at New York Fashion Week.
