The solution can not be sought in bringing in more weapons. It can´t be sought in offering more help to these battered women. The solution will only come from THE MEN. Men must respect women. A woman is his mum, his wife, his daughter, his sister, his grandmother, his aunt. African men use to have such profound respect for the African woman. Africa is female and they call the continet Mama Africa. That dignified respect must be brought back. Quickly. Very quickly. Mama Africa i cry for you.

Thank you Lisa for telling this story. I am moved by your courage to go into the "bush" to help these women heal. I am reminded of the scripture that says God said "I am sorry I every created man"...this is a human tragedy...

Thank you Lisa Jackson. May God bless you even more in his purpose for you on this earth. I was ignorant of the atrocity that is going on in the Congo. Hopefully there will be people out there who will step up and do something. I definetly try my best.

what has been happening is truly horrific, i have no idea this has been going on for so long practically unnoticed. Thank you for bringing this to this to light. I hope it will be aired until the world wakes up and something is done.
