that would be why i am convinced that widmore has infiltrated the island as the so-called fake locke. it fits, since he wanted the island to himself and all he would have to do is get rid of the survivors to regain it as his own again. i think there will be a confrontation between richard and jacobs rival for the island, but that means that the real locke could still be resurected to play a role in the final season, since he's meant to be the saviour of the island.

Jacobs Nemesis took his form and thats it. I think Lockes body in the S5 finale is the proof for that.
