This week on Penn Foster Tv, Penn Foster Steve gives a quick tip on how you can shut off the new personal results feature in Google. Google recently rolled out its "Search, plus your world" feature, which by default, displays search results that are personalized around what your Google friends and contacts +1'd (liked) or contributed to. The new Google algorithm then takes the new personal results that it found for you and sorts them by which it feels is most closely related (search relevant) to what you have searched. We think the new feature is very neat, but it will also be helpful to know how to turn it off.
By turning the new feature off, you will have your go back to Google's old way of sorting your results by what it finds relevant from across the entire web. Stay tuned for another episode of Penn Foster TV next Friday.
